Overview
At the Baltic Sea site, KERTE operates a 19-hectare marine facility in Kerteminde Bay. Located 4 km from the harbor at a depth of 8–12 meters, this demonstration site highlights an advanced, organic-certified Integrated Multi-Trophic Aquaculture (IMTA) model. The project utilises low-trophic co-cultivation strategies to maximise species value while keeping local environmental impacts minimal.
